Taxi & Commercial Claims

Mr Khalil, of Leicester, had his taxi hit whilst parked in the rank. Although it was only minor damage, Council rules meant he should not use it whilst damaged.  EasiGo arranged a plated taxi, and for his to be repaired. The replacement taxi was delivered next morning.

Mr McGurn, of Hull, was hit, was hit in rear at speed, at a roundabout. His insurers told him his taxi was a write-off, & would not supply him with a courtesy taxi, to use until he had been paid out. EasiGo supplied him with a car plated for Hull Council which he had until he had been paid out, plus a week, to allow him to find a new one.

Mr Beeston, of Warrington, had his van hit by an HGV reversing into him. Because the van was on a company policy, there was a very high excess, which his insurers wanted to charge him. He rang EasiGo who supplied a replacement, and claimed for repairs directly off the other insurer. No excess had to be paid.

Mr Gould, of Houndslow, was hit by a car pulling out of a carpark. He needed a nine seater, plated minibus. His own insurers would not supply one, so EasiGo arranged a replacement, properly plated, and for his to be repaired.

Mr Adams of E. London, was hit in the rear at traffic lights. Because he only had third party cover, his insurers would not help. EasiGo arranged a GLC plated cab, handled the repairs to his, and put him in touch with solicitors who recovered his lost earnings, as well as handling his injury claim.

Mrs Pearson of Sutton , had a two-year-old Mercedes Sprinter LWB. Her van was hit in the rear at some traffic lights. Her own insurers wanted to repair her car at one of their own body shops. She wanted it repaired by the main dealer. Easigo arranged for an approved repairer, & gave her a suitable sized van to use, whilst repairs were made.

Mr Ashley, of Scunthorpe had an accident that was not his fault. He had a refrigerated van which he used to carry meats. The insurers wanted to lend him a normal van, which was totally unsuitable for his business use. EasiGo supplied him with the right sort of van, and put him in touch with solicitors who handled his injury claim, and recovered the lost value of the stock he had been carrying at the time of the accident.

EasiGo – Taxi & Commercial Claims

As with all our services, you never pay anything, for using us. Unlike a lot of our competitors, we do not charge you a percentage of what you win. All our fees are recovered from the other parties’ insurers. This also means that your non claims bonus will not be affected, and that you will not have to pay any policy excess. We are not purely interested in handling your injury claim- we do everything to get you back on the road, and your life back to normal. No wonder so much of our business comes from personal recommendation!

We ONLY handle road accident claims, and offer a UK wide service. When you call our helpline, an operator will take some brief details of your accident. A trained accident specialist will then call you back, and start your claim. They will also advise you on any aspect of your claim, – how to register your injuries with the doctor or accident unit etc. They will arrange for a free replacement car, if yours is undriveable, so that you can get back on the road.

Once we have established you have a good claim, we can do everything from getting your car to a repair shop, delivering a loan vehicle to your home/ place of work, and organising any medical treatment you may need, as well as handling your claim for compensation. Our compensation claims solicitors are experts in this area- they only deal with road accident claims. We will deal directly with the other parties’ insurers, as well as with the repair garage. Unlike a lot of insurance companies, who insist on repairing your vehicle at their nominated bodyshops, (they get a commission from the repairers), we use main dealers. This ensures that your vehicle is properly repaired.

All our services are handled from the one location, so we can easily coordinate all aspects of your claim, and you have a single number to call, should you have any queries. If your driver has been injured, we can arrange physiotherapy& other treatments, at a location and time suitable to them. We will organise a medical report, which will form the basis of your injury compensation claim. This will be done at a time & place convenient to you. Once we have the report, we will negotiate with the other party, to get your driver maximum compensation.

Fully comprehensively Insured Drivers.

Even if you are fully comp insured, you may well not be entitled to the help you deserve, when you have a non fault accident claim. For example, a lot of insurers will only supply a replacement car if your car is not a write off; likewise they often only offer unsuitable replacement cars, instead of a similar model. If your car is still driveable, they will expect you to go around getting quotes from accident repair garages. Even worse, they may insist on you having your car accident claim repairs handled by their own repairers, rather than the main dealer. This can have a severe impact on the resale value of your car.

Often the third party insurers will offer to sort your claim. Nice idea, but you need to remember they are looking after their interests- NOT yours! Once you have agreed to this, you can suffer:

  • gold-starInferior repairs, with old panels repaired, instead of replaced.
  • gold-starNo manufacturer’s warranty on repairs
  • gold-starLow write off valuations; insurers use auction prices, we use forecourt ones!
  • gold-starUnsuitable replacement car choice, if any.
  • gold-starNo private medical care
  • gold-starNo replacement of damaged items or lost earnings
  • gold-starLow levels of injury compensation

It is always a better idea to contact Easigo car accident claims experts first; they will nearly always provide a better service, and you can always fall back on your own insurer, if unhappy! Once you have allowed your own, or the third party to handle things, it is often difficult to seek independent, expert help.

Third Party Insured only drivers.

Generally, insurers will provide no assistance at all, if you have a car accident claim that was not your fault. They are only prepared to deal with a third party’s claim. Easigo car accident claim experts will handle your claim as if you were fully insured. They will still supply a courtesy car, and handle all aspects of your car accident claim. This includes getting your damaged car inspected, and repaired, and handling your injury claim and other losses. Easigo car accident claim experts will also arrange any medical treatment you may require. Most claims companies are only interested in dealing with your personal injury claim. Easigo are happy to deal with all aspects of your car accident claim. They will even help with parked, unattended, car accident claims.

If you allow the third party insurers to handle things, you are at their mercy regarding:

  • gold-star Offers of replacement car, both in terms of what they will provide, and the time period covered.
  • gold-star Quality of vehicle repairs: often the cheapest possible repairs are authorised.
  • gold-star Valuation on car write-offs: low valuations are offered.
  • gold-star Low levels of compensation, and no specialist medical treatment.
  • gold-star No lost earnings, other damages are covered. You will have to take the insurers to court yourself, to recover these. If your taxi is off the road, and you are unable to work, these can mount up quite quickly.
